Limited Capacity seats available

Let's get real for a minute. No family is perfect, but every family is beautifully imperfect. Join me for a fun and hands-on learning experience where I will show you that it's okay to not pose your family sessions. You can allow families to connect with one another as you capture those true, authentic moments. We, as photographers, need to rid our minds of preconceived notions of what a perfect session should look like, and instead learn to see beauty in the imperfections of life. In this demo with a real family, I will demonstrate how I approach a real family session. I will share insight on how I capture the environment to help tell the story of a family and how to incorporate movement to make stunning portraits. We will discuss many situations that you may encounter with clients, from what to do with fussy children to how to suggest colors and outfits that families should stick to for their sessions.

It's best to have experience shooting in manual mode. Recommended lenses are either 35mm or 50mm.

This outdoor boutique program will take place on the grounds of the plantation.
