In her candid, revelatory program, Sarah Cornish divulges her entire ”bag of tricks" for creating riveting, moment-based imagery. She will talk through the six most important elements for getting families to loosen up, get comfortable, and deliver genuine emotion and connection during their photo session. She’ll give you natural and effective prompts to use while shooting even the most bashful of subjects and strategies to keep even the most camera-ready clients from phony smiles and overly posed image. And she’ll will show you how to prepare for a session from the first e-mail to the last click of your shutter.

She will discuss how to be your own brand and how to encourage your own creative voice to shine through your work so that you stand alone in your business and your industry. She will teach you to thoroughly style a session using your family as your spring board in a way that suits the family’s story, your subject’s personalities, and your style.

Sarah will also provide her top tips and tricks for working with available light, as well as the best way to create moving imagery with and without the use of sunlight. She’ll even show you how to make the most of gloomy days, using color and texture and pattern to help aid the mood of your art. Lastly, Sarah will overview a few simple but effective Photoshop processing techniques she uses in her own work to bring images to life.
