Every family has a story to tell. As a family photojournalist, you are documenting life as it unfolds around you. Giving no direction, without posing, without altering the environment, you are the narrator of their story. Now, photographing a family while not giving any direction can sound scary. Add in an unknown location, unpredictable light and lots of energetic, moving people and it may just terrify you! Join Courtney Larson and Casey McCauley as they bring clarity, fun and a solid game-plan to how you can approach and succeed in family documentary photography. Together students will join the instructors in a hands-on environment as you practice photographing a Day in the Life session for a family. Learn how to prepare your clients, work in difficult lighting, predict moments and document a family's story that is honest and uniquely them.

Location:
This indoor boutique program will take place in a home-like hotel suite for a lifestyle shooting experience.
