From Mundane to Magical: Editing Underwater Images to Uncover the True Beauty Under the Horizon (Elizabeth Blank)
Limited Capacity seats available

Underwater photography documents an entirely new world just waiting to be beautifully captured. However, SOOC (straight out of camera) images from under the water's surface do very little to show the true beauty the lies beneath. During this classroom presentation, Elizabeth Blank will walk you through the entire editing workflow she utilizes in both Lightroom and Photoshop as she post-processes her underwater images from start to finish. You will be truly amazed by how a few tweaks can take an underwater image from dull and boring to an almost three-dimensional paradise.

This indoor boutique program will take place inside a classroom with a projector/screen.

Learning Objectives:
- Students will understand the modifications they can make while photographing underwater images to get the best results SOOC (straight out of camera).
- Students will learn what factors cause SOOC underwater images to be incredibly drab.
- Students will gain an understanding of how editing underwater images differs from editing ""on land"" images.
- Students will gain an understanding of how post-processing programs can bring life back to underwater photographs.
- Students will gain an understanding of how to achieve proper skin tones underwater through post-processing.
- Students will be given a guide to walk them through processing their own underwater images after our session together.
